The Nasty Affair at the Burami Oasis
The Nadger Plague
Nedward Seagoon is left a fortune by his rich uncle, with one stipulation: he must wait until he is 100 years old to spend it. To prove he is of age, a cunning plan is hatched involving a different calendar...
The "Peruvian calendar stone" which demonstrates a shorter calendar is probably a misremembered Mayan or Aztec calendar stone. Both used a ceremonial calendar of 270 days (alongside a civil calendar of 365). The boat voyage to Peru may have been inspired by Thor Heyerdahl's voyage on the Kon-Tiki.
