The Kingsway subway was a tram tunnel on the Forest Hills-Highgate Line. It saw use until the decommissioning of the London tram system in 1952, after which it contained the longest section of tramway left in place. Some of it was later used as a highway underpass, and part of the former Holborn station was converted into a flood control center which operated from sometime in the 1970s into the 1980s.
